Campervan Road Trip - Oslo to Tromso in May'26
Hi Everyone!
Need some advice for my upcoming campervan road trip from Oslo to Tromso in mid May '26
I have the van booked with indie campers, it's just me and my wife and we are taking a comfort compact automatic.
Planning to go from Oslo towards the Geiranger and Loen region, then towards Trondheim, then take the longer ferry route to Bodo instead of highway, ferry from Bodo to Lofoten, Lofoten to Senja, Senja to Tromso
It's my first time taking a campervan, so a lot of basic doubts:
How should I plan the charging halts - should it be a campground every alternate night?
How quickly will one gas tank finish? How will I be able to refill or replace it?
How quickly do the chemical tabs run out for the toilet?
How to best utilise power and gas in the campervan?
Any other things you guys can suggest for us can rookies?
