hi there- looking for some expert advice. I bought a house last year and had a contractor do about $130k of cosmetic upgrade work. One of the jobs was painting the interior walls, doors and ceiling. He also replaced the baseboards with basic 4” baseboards. The house has settled a bit since, and now I am seeing blue painters tape peeking out underneath the baseboards in many places. It’s tiny little strips of blue that I can’t remove even with tweezers. It’s driving me crazy. I can’t believe they would leave blue tape on the floors and install over it. I don’t know what to do. Is it reasonable for me to text him these photos and ask him to redo? I would have to imagine that it’s all of the baseboards. Thanks for the help.

Hi! I just bought on the west side and need to do some cosmetic work. My midcentury was stripped of its charm over the years, and I want to add wood paneling and tongue and groove wood ceilings. All interior work. Would love a reco. Have had nightmare experience with the contractor my realtor recommended; hoping this group might be able to send me in the right direction. Thank you! 🤞🙏
