Hey everyone, I’m considering applying for MCA at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology and wanted some honest feedback from current students, alumni, or anyone who knows about the program.

Is MCA at Thapar actually worth it in terms of academics, coding culture, internships, and placements? I’ve seen mixed opinions online, so I wanted real student experiences. How are the placements specifically for MCA students—like what percentage of students usually get placed, what’s the average package, and do companies treat MCA students the same as B.Tech/M.Tech students during placements?

Also, I’m trying to understand the admission process for 2026. What’s the eligibility criteria, selection process, and does admission happen through entrance exam, graduation marks, or something else? And one more thing—does anyone know the last date to fill out the application form this year?

I’m applying for GJ Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management for MCA admission and wanted to ask if anyone here has recently gone through the Personal Interview (PI) process.
What kind of questions did they ask? For example:
Technical questions (C, Java, DBMS, etc.)
Academic/background questions
Why MCA / career goals
Current affairs or aptitude questions
It would really help if you could share your experience, difficulty level, or any preparation tips.
