Kathmandu Traffic Police Confiscated
Yesterday, traffic police confiscated my bluebook near New Road Gate because I crossed lanes while coming from Sankata toward the main road. There was no signboard indicating that a right turn was not allowed, so I was genuinely unaware of the restriction. I explained this to the traffic officer, but he mentioned that I should have taken a U-turn from Bishal Bazar instead.
I also need to renew my bluebook and pay the vehicle tax, but the issue is that the bluebook is currently with the traffic office. Due to my work schedule, I am only free on Saturdays, but the office is closed that day.
Additionally, I would like to ask—under the current government initiatives, is there any provision for bluebook renewal or delivery at home? I have heard about such services being introduced, so I wanted to confirm if this is possible in my case.
Could you please suggest what I should do in this situation?
