These foil rubber/plastic stuff is horrible. No glue works well on it and when the glue does finally set and hold only the center is adhered, this takes hours sometimes. Because I let this kit sit for years in a box some of the mdf frames are warped, requiring rubber banding, weights or even clamping to get to fit together. These things are causing assembly to take forever...more later.
Pretty massive kit stuffed into this box, some of the frames are bent so this should be a fun build. The directions have an ad for the last building I built. This one could take a while.
This kit was not fun or easy to assemble because it had some manufacturing issues. There was a frame that was reverse cut, a frame that was only partially painted and a small frame that was almost completely uncut. If 4ground were still in business I would have returned it. Still a nice building, glad I have it.
A little break from the 4ground building assemby to get a little paint on more shaltari. This brings more than half the force fully painted.
Construction complete on the last of the 4ground hab block buildings. Two buildings left and both are quite different and larger than these have been. This box came with clothes pins and rubber bands to help hold things together while the glue dries. Wish I would have opened this box first, oh well. More to come.
This was an easier build than the previous buildings but had a ton of tiny window details. This was an interesting build as each lower floor was the whole footprint of the building but wrapped in each individual facade.
The next building is similar but different in a cool way.
The next box set is finished, two small buildings and an extra level that could be added to either. Very quick and easy build, the next box is the same and different.
