Yesterday, I was carrying some graded coins into my “coin room” to put them safely in my binders, Then my small safe. But one coin slipped, from what had to be at most 4 feet and cracked the obverse of the case. This ruined my day Becuase the coin ha beautiful toning and I was about to send it off to CAC for stickering, not I have to send it back in for re-holdering. what’s worse is I have dropped coins from much higher and the cases were fine, even one time a dropped a silver eagle form what had to be seven Feet straight onto a parking lot as I was trying to walk out of me coin shop after buying it and the case was fine. I’m not super mad about this and not really looking for any reason why the case would have done this, just thought I would share this Becuase it just felt like an interesting thing to me. I don’t mind getting it reholdered, but again, it is a little annoying. And No, dropping graded coins is not something that happens a lot for me.

I bought this coin and just noticed the spots on it. I have no Idea why it’s graded a seventy with all of those spots. So I was thinking maybe they appeared after being put into to the holder. It is a slightly older holder.
