Spent way too long comparing ACs, so I made an Google sheet. Posting it in case it helps someone
I recently went down the rabbit hole of buying a 1.5 ton AC and realized how confusing the options are — star ratings, ISEER, annual electricity consumption, WiFi features, installation costs, etc. Every listing on Amazon/Flipkart shows different bits of info, and comparing them side-by-side was honestly a pain.
So I ended up creating a simple Excel sheet for myself where I compiled details of some popular 1.5 ton split ACs — including:
- Model numbers
- Cooling capacity
- Annual electricity consumption
- Star rating / ISEER
- WiFi availability
- Actual price + installation charges
Nothing fancy, just a clean comparison so I could make a practical decision instead of guessing.
Sharing it here in case it helps someone else who is currently researching ACs, especially with summer around the corner. Even if it saves you 30 minutes of tab-switching, it’s worth it.
If anyone wants the sheet or has suggestions for more models to add (especially newer 5-star ones), happy to update it.
Hope this helps someone 👍
