NOC ( 13201 ) - need help to choose correct noc
Hi everyone,
I need help figuring out the correct NOC for my job for PR purposes. I’m working as a Materials Coordinator in a manufacturing plan, and I’m unsure whether it fits TEER 3 or TEER 4.
My duties are:
- Independently coordinate and oversee the materials function for the XYZ plant, including maintenance spare parts, equipment components, and production materials, ensuring continuous operations and minimizing downtime.
- Oversee daily materials activities and provide guidance and direction to a team member responsible for inventory handling and material tracking, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in operations.
- Lead day-to-day coordination with production planners for material planning and scheduling support to maintain production continuity.
- Coordinate the availability and movement of materials by working closely with maintenance, production, and procurement teams to align material supply with operational and maintenance schedules.
- Review mechanical drawings, OEM manuals, and maintenance documentation to determine accurate material requirements for repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment rebuilds.
- Prepare and process material requisitions and purchase requests, and follow up with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of required items.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels using CMMS (Manager Plus), ensuring proper tracking, data accuracy, and timely replenishment of critical stock.
- Track open orders, backorders, and urgent material requirements, taking proactive steps to resolve shortages and prevent operational delays.
- Prepare and maintain reports related to inventory levels, material usage, and maintenance support activities to support planning and decision-making.
- Identify and implement improvements in materials handling, inventory control, and logistics coordination processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
I’m mainly trying to understand whether this aligns more with NOC 13201 (production/logistics coordination) or NOC 14403 (inventory/purchasing roles).
Any guidance would be appreciated.
