So I recently got a check engine light for a misfire in cylinder 3 and the other code said random cylinder misfire. I changed my spark plugs because they were way over due and that took the code away. Then after like a day or two the check engine light came back and the idle was somehow slightly more rough. Before from the cabin it felt fine basically as what you’d think an old car would feel like but during the check engine light and after changing the idle got a bit more rough and now at lower rpm you can feel more vibrations. Do you guys think it could just be the rotor and distributed cap or should I js replace the whole thing. Also that white smoke coming out the exhaust could be condensation I’ll check tmr 😬

Hello I’m looking for laptop recommendations for someone who’s going into mechanical engineering. The three I’ve had my eye on are the rog zephyrus g16, thinkpad p16v, and frameworks 16 laptop. Does anyone have any experience with these laptops or have recommendations for me? My budget is around 3000$ but I can push it to 5000$ if I really want to have a laptop that will last me in the long run (ex think pad p16). When it comes to form factor I just like when there isn’t a big extended part behind the display that on laptops like the Lenovo legion i7(I know it’s good for performance but I don’t want one that has that). The minimum screen size I want is 16in but not bigger than 18. I would mainly use this laptop for cad software, video/photo editing, college class work, and maybe some very light gaming. If you guys could take the time out of your day to help me that would be great, thank you.

Hello I’m looking for laptop recommendations for someone who is specifically a mechanical engineering major. I know the “basic requirements” for cad are 32gb of ram, ssd storage, i7 processor, and I don’t know the exact gpu needed to run cad software. My question is do I need to run cad software during my first two years of college or can I get away with just buying a MacBook Neo or Air for now and then buying a windows laptop in the future to run cad software. In the case that I do need a windows laptop what are good laptops that can run cad software for $2-3k. If I were to get a windows laptop now I’d get the thinkpad p16 but I don’t want to spend all that money right now if I don’t have to. I’m sorry if it’s hard to understand what I wrote but thank you if you took the time out of your day to read and reply.
