I really think older films should come back to theaters way more often. Movies like Jurassic Park or Star Wars aren’t just nostalgic - they’re the kind of films that were made for the big screen.
For people who saw them during their original run, it would be an amazing throwback. And for those who’ve only ever watched them at home, it’s a completely different experience in a theater.
Honestly, if studios treated these re-releases like real events instead of one-off showings, I think they could actually do pretty well financially too.
And let’s be real - who wouldn’t want to watch Jaws or Terminator 2: Judgment Day on the big screen again?
