Hey everyone,

I often work with network and infrastructure diagrams in draw.io, and once a diagram gets busy, tracing a single connector through a bunch of overlapping lines can get annoying fast.

So I made a small plugin called AnimateIT!.

What it does:

highlights the selected connector
makes it thicker and bright green
enables flow animation
temporarily brings the line to the front
restores the original style and layer order when you deselect it

It’s just a small quality-of-life plugin, but it’s been genuinely useful for messy diagrams. Maybe it’ll help someone else too.
