Hi guys, as the title says I have a 2015 1.6 Tdi Mk7 golf. I want Apple CarPlay, and have seen there’s a few options.

The car currently has a Mib 2 unit, and two SD card slots. The car also has App connect but it hasn’t been activated. I’m not sure what the best way to go about this, I quite like the current screen look so I’d be more looking for activating app connect that rather than getting an after market screen.

I’m not really great with cars so looking for an in depth guide of how to do it using an SD card, or is it worth buying an activation code and how does that work. Or should I just get an aftermarket screen.
