Cerebellar Hypoplasia question
Hi Reddit -
This morning my husband and I plucked a kitten off a busy highway on the way home from gym. Judging from teeth/ears/eye color/weight, we're estimating about 5 weeks old (we foster so we're familiar with kittens of all stages). No hope of finding his mom - one side of the road was a lake and the other is a brick wall. He was in the median.
He's VERY socialized and has zero fleas, which is weird for Florida, so he may have been dumped.
However, the only thing I'm questioning in regard to age is that he's quite wobbly when he walks. Like, newborn "learning how to walk" wobbly. He should be past that.
The only thing I can think of is that he maybe has CS, but when he's wrapped up and sleeping, he doesn't shake.
I know nothing about CS other than it exists and kitties can live healthy lives with it - but do they always shake or are there moments without tremors?
If he does have CS, that could be why he was dumped.
