Shortly after purchasing a 2018 Crosstrek, the clips holding my rear bumper came off causing the bumper flap to catch under my tire causing some tearing to my bumper. It looks like replacing the bumper with a painted bumper is way out of my price range. I checked local dump yards and am not having any luck. Ebay wants to charge insane shipping fees. So, I am trying to find out if I can purchase a bumper that will not require any paint, and install it myself with some YouTube DIY guidance. I am 100% unexpierenced but open to learning. Will an unpainted bumper look stupid? I did a bunch of research but quickly felt like I was in over my head a bit. There isn't a ton of damage. Wondering if anyone can give me your thoughts on what you would do to keep the cost down but get it fixed. I am willing to spend some $ to get it back in good shape but want it to be reasonable.
