How can Graham Platner run for Senate with a 100% VA disability rating?

Good article addressing Platner's disability benefits and rating and the difference between VA disability and social security disability. the thing they left out is that the VA disability rating is given because the veteran is disabled from doing his military job (in his case combat), not from doing any job. There are many vets out there working regular jobs who have a 100% disability rating.
