An undisputed Italian sandwich and Charles River kayaking (Issue 8 drops this morning)

For anyone following along, Issue 8 of The Waltham Insider goes out in just a few hours.

To keep the peace after the Carl's debate, this week we are talking about Domenic's Italian Bakery on Main Street. I think we can all agree they make an absolute masterpiece of an Italian sub.

We are also covering where to get gluten free authentic Mexican for Cinco de Mayo, the spring concert from the Waltham Philharmonic, the return of Charles River kayak rentals, and how Waltham used to mass produce American automobiles.

For anyone following along, Issue 7 of The Waltham Insider goes out in just a few hours.

This week we are talking about the brand new Monarca Taqueria that recently opened up in the old Gustazo spot on Main Street. They are serving incredible authentic Birria and the space looks amazing.

We are also covering the massive 39th Annual Sheepshearing Festival at Gore Place this Saturday, the Citywide Clean Up, and how to find the original 1636 colonial stone walls hiding in the woods.

I finally unlocked the website so there is no more forced email wall. You can read the new issue completely free right here: https://walthaminsider.beehiiv.com/
