If you think about it, the world's major cities need maintenance... and it's not crazy to think the hive can maintain those cities, but what if we slowly see the mundane begin to lose their importance? What if we see large structures become inefficient for their purpose? It would be incredible to witness that degradation... to see the world gradually cease to matter to them. The first season is very calm and, to a certain extent, clean; the following season, neglect may begin to appear...

Okay, it's a beautiful intro, and it's fantastic. I love the echoing a cappella structure, but Dave Porter's full song is incredible! If you haven't heard it, do so and come back here, because the final section feels like the intensity of the piece reaches an absolute climax. They should use that part for a key moment in later seasons, with some kind of climax or revelation. That piece of music has the absolute power to give us one of the best moments of the series.
