Maths 2200 ( calculus 1) Transfer to Georgia tech

What does hybrid means here?

I have been registered for maths 2200 just wanted to know if its transferable to georgia tech and taking the course 2200 physically or fully online makes any difference when transferring?

Thankyou

Talent initiative pathway/ GGC OR KSU

I recently got offered the Georgia Tech Talent Initiative Pathway for fall 2027  and I’m currently confused about which university I should attend before transferring.

I’ve been accepted to both KSU and GGC. One advantage of GGC for me is that it’s only around 10 minutes from my home.

However, one thing I’m worried about is: what if for some reason I don’t get accepted to GT later on through the pathway (for example because of GPA requirements or something else)? If that happened, would transferring from GGC to KSU later be relatively easy?

I know KSU is generally considered the safer option because it’s a bigger university with stronger engineering programs, but I’m still trying to decide what would be the better choice overall.

Are there any students here who transferred from GGC to Georgia Tech through a pathway program? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience, GPA, classes, transfer process, or whether you think attending GGC was worth it.

Thanks!

My advisor made this schedule for fall 2026 and my orientation is on June 5th.

would i be able to change the timings of the classes?

What if i dont want to attend ggc would be able to drop all the classes after my orientation ?

I recently got a conditional transfer pathway offer to Georgia Tech, and I’m honestly really confused about choosing a major.
Right now I’m deciding between Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering. Personally, I’m more interested in civil engineering, but I keep hearing people say it’s “not worth it” because of lower salaries compared to other engineering fields. At the same time, I feel like civil might be easier to break into and find a stable entry-level job, which matters a lot to me.
Another thing that’s confusing me is that Georgia Tech offers different civil engineering concentrations like structural, environmental, etc. I’m not sure which one is the best in terms of job opportunities and long-term growth.
So I’d really appreciate advice from people who are:
Studying at Georgia Tech (especially engineering)

Working in civil or electrical engineering

Or anyone who has gone through a similar decision

Is civil engineering actually limiting in terms of salary or growth?
And which concentration would you recommend if I go the civil route?
