What is this on my tomatoes?

What is this on my tomatoes?

These black spots just started showing up on one of my tomatoes. When it stops raining, I think I need to pull the leaves off. Any idea what this is?

Pineapple guava flowers?

Is anyone in the East Sacramento County area willing to to part with some Pineapple Guava flowers? Mine is flowering, but I just replanted its pollinator that was destroyed and the replacement is not flowering yet. Trying to see what this fancy guava tastes like.

Please let me know, thanks!

Fig pop method refinement

For reference, here is the “fig pop” method for fig cutting propagation from figbid:

https://figbid.com/page/how-to-root-using-the-fig-pop-method

After reading this and doing a variation on it this winter, I have a couple of questions for those of you with experience:

-Would rooting hormone help speed up the rooting process along with scraping?

-why open the fig pop before roots develop? Won’t that encourage gnats and allow the medium to dry out?

-why poke holes in the sides of the fig pops?

-are the grow lights important if I can transfer the figs to a greenhouse?

In general, I would prefer to go straight from fig pop to a 1-gallon pot. Thanks in advance for your advice!
