Looking for a Segovia tour from Madrid, need recs !

I’ll be spending a few days in Madrid very soon with my mother. We’re both really into history, especially her, and I know she would love for us to visit Segovia with a guided tour.

I was thinking that an all-inclusive experience departing from Madrid could be a good option, but maybe it’s actually very easy to do on our own and simply book a guided tour once we get there.

Also, I noticed that quite a few tours include a second stop in Toledo. Do you think that’s a good idea, or is it better to take your time and enjoy Segovia more slowly?

If anyone has had a great experience there or has a tour to recommend, I’d really appreciate your feedback. Thanks a lot!!

I get it, you want to see specific places in Paris, and of course you should. I do too when I travel.

But I think a lot of people over-plan their time here to the point where they end up experiencing Paris as a checklist.

Paris is huge, and in a week you will only ever see a small part of it. Yet I often see tourists packing every hour with “must-see” spots, rushing between them, and spending a big part of their trip queuing.

And honestly…do you really need to wait 40 minutes for a hot chocolate at Carette?

Sometimes it’s better to just walk, get a bit lost, and stop wherever looks interesting. Some of my favorite moments in Paris came from randomly turning a corner, not from ticking off a list.

Just my opinion, but I think leaving some empty space in your itinerary makes the trip better.
