Built a full-stack fitness tracker with 800+ exercises (working on AI features next)

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on a full-stack React app for tracking workouts and wanted to share it here for feedback.

Right now it includes:

800+ exercises in a searchable library

User sign-up + workout logging

Exercise tutorials built into the platform

Fallback YouTube links if an exercise isn’t in the database

I’m currently working on integrating AI into it — planning to add a reasoning model for things like:

calorie calculations

diet suggestions

general guidance inside the app

Would genuinely love feedback on:

usability

features you think are missing

anything that would make this more useful

If anyone’s building something similar or has ideas, I’m open to discussing as well 🙌

We’re building a VR meditation experience with haptics + biofeedback – would love feedback from Quest users

Hey everyone,

My friend and I have been working on a VR meditation experience called NiVRiya, and we’re trying to make it feel actually immersive instead of just a static calm environment.

Right now, we’re experimenting with:

Controller vibrations synced with breathing/mantras

Psychedelic-style environments for deeper focus

Guided audio + ambient soundscapes

(In progress) biofeedback so users can see their heart rate calm down in real time

We’ve had a few people test it already, and the response has been surprisingly positive—but we want honest feedback from people who actually use Quest regularly.

A couple things I’m curious about:

What makes a VR meditation app feel genuinely effective to you?

Do haptics actually help with immersion, or feel distracting?

Would you prefer guided sessions or more open/free environments?

Not here to sell anything—just trying to build something people actually enjoy using.

Happy to share clips or let people try it once we polish it a bit more 🙌

[For hire]

[For Hire] MERN Stack Developer – I Build Real Applications, Not Templates

Body:

Most developers will give you a pre-built template and call it a “solution.”

I don’t.

I build actual web applications:

Custom backend logic (Node.js, Express)

Secure authentication systems (JWT, cookies, roles)

Scalable databases (MongoDB)

Clean, responsive frontend (React)

Recent work includes a fully functional e-commerce platform with:

Admin panel

Order tracking

Authentication & protected routes

If you’re serious about building something that actually works (and scales), DM me and let’s talk.

Tried building a VR meditation scene — curious what people think

Been experimenting with a VR meditation concept recently.

Instead of just watching something calming, I tried adding small interactions — like subtle UI cues and controller vibration to guide breathing and focus.

Not sure if it actually improves the experience or just makes it distracting tbh.

Sharing a short clip — would love to know:

• Does this kind of interaction help or break immersion?
• What would you personally want in a VR meditation experience?

Still figuring things out, so any honest feedback helps.
