Choosing the Best Soundbar/Sub Combo When a Traditional Home Theater Isn’t an Option

I’m looking for advice as I transition from a full home theater—Anthem MRX 1120, Paradigm Studio speakers, and an SVS SB13 Ultra sub—to a soundbar setup. The new house has the TV mounted over the fireplace, which is the only viable location, in a large room with high ceilings. I don’t plan to build a separate theater room.

I’m considering two options:

  1. Get a Sonos Arc Ultra and pair it with my existing Sonos sub.
  2. Go with a soundbar that has an RCA sub output, such as the Sennheiser Ambeo Max, and connect my SB13 Ultra using an SVS wireless adapter.

I’d appreciate your thoughts on these options or recommendations for a better alternative.
