I'm attempting to build a more round type of building, I'm fine with it's shape but I've been curious.... If I place slabs to cover the inside of the base will it help increase the hostile mods that spawn outside since none can spawn inside the building?

I have several of the cherry trees planted, but one thing they're missing is the leaves littered on the ground. I can see the particles falling from the trees, but unlike what I've seen in content creator videos I dont see any leaves on the ground. Is there a way to get those to appear?
