Hidden gem between San Sebastian and the pico’s
Hi all,
I’d love some advice. We’re planning a road trip from Amsterdam to Lisbon, driving through beautiful Spain along the way.
The region we’re not familiar with is the stretch between San Sebastián and the Picos de Europa. We’ll be traveling as a group of seven: me and my wife, our three kids (9, 12, 15), and my parents (around 70).
We’re planning to spend about a day in the Picos de Europa and are looking for recommendations on where to stay during this part of the trip. We’d also love tips on must-see spots along the way. ( we are planning to take 3 days around this part) We enjoy nature, scenic drives, and charming villages. The kids are up for some adventure and fun activities, but we’re also traveling with grandparents, so nothing too extreme.
Any suggestions for hidden gems, beautiful villages, viewpoints, or family-friendly activities would be greatly appreciated.
