Dude tried to run the light and hit me as i was turning with the green arrow

So the left is my regular halogen lights and the right is led lights i had ordered. I have a 2023 chevy malibu LT. it said guranteed fit an i had put in my vin as well. But the led lights connector is to wide on the inside, did i do something wrong?
