Do I have a basset!?
I adopted Ginger a few years ago when she was 8, the only things I am told is she is from an overcrowded pound in Kentucky and she is a “basset Shepard mix.”
Since then, I have done one of those dog DNA tests (which I was skeptical of to begin with) and her results were Mastiff and Rottweiler….
She is definitely a low rider, long body, short little legs that are a bit ballerina like. Her bark is a low howl. So I tend to think basset still, contrary to the online test. I figured I’d come to the experts and see if I have a part basset baby! (The pics don’t do her short stubbiness real justice)
