As an amateur designer who started at the end of 2024, at age of 41 and a dream...

This submission to Necromunda terrain makers, was the perfect opportunity to show the UNDERworld my work, what I learned and achieved.

For my submission, I only used push-to-fit pieces, no glue what so ever. Mostly printed pieces from my latest release: Rust-CIty V2 edition, some walls and decoration from previous sets.

I release my work under the name BlackSheepScenery and these modular FDM printable 'BlackSheepSystems' terrain sets.

I had to clear my table and stack it in my office room, where I came with the idea, of making a shelf diorama with this Rust-City terrain set, just like I did with every previous project.

I guess my structure is what I wanted it to be for #vertigointhehive . It's kind a like a #ewokvillage .. :p

Happy me!

Now it only needs some paint and maybe some more scatter terrain.

Due the push-to-fit parts and the abscence of glue, I won't be glueing much basing and such on it, so I have to find another way to give it a more realistic look.

All the pieces that were used are from different BlackSheepSystems edition.

Added some cover, pillar addon's, vents and stuff. All pieces from previous BlackSheepSystems sets, like scavanger', trench protottype' and cyberpunk edition.
And all this without the use of glue...

Putting all the parts together, to get a rouph idea, to see what is still need to be made. And what of that is possible with the current printed pieces.

The hab-block from the previous WIP, I still need to re-create. Not sure if I still got all the pieces for it, so it might gonna end up looking differently.

When that is done, I'm gonna digg in to my previous sets, to see if I can find some usefull stuff to add to this project.

And after that its pretty much painting the whole thing, for a better look.

Minimum effort, pretty descent result:

Used a basecoat mix of black, grey and some gold.
Then added yellow paint with a brush, not so descent.
Ended with the quickshade mix of soft and strong tone dip.

So all my tubes and collumn silo's are done, in less then an hour. Whoop whoop, new record.

Got all my pieces walk way pieces, tubes, connectors, collumn silo's, machines, stairs, railings, floortiles and shanti roofs pre-painted.

Spend a couple hours spray painting, adding 1 colour with a brush, splashing some water & contrast and then applying some Quickshape Dips.

First time I ever use the dip and didnt expect it to be varnish like, me thinking it was just a huge can of normal quickshade. So not sure how this is going to look like, when its dry.

Now I only need to do my collumns, shanti walls, silo's and floorplatforms, before I can continue on the contest project.

Wanted to start on tile for competing for #mundastories combinating the Underhive V1 collumns in combination with the Gothic edition set. Untill I realized, I didn't make a tube set yet, to use in combination with its wall lenght.

So now it's on my to-do list...
