I have tried using Aklief (trifarotene) three times now, and every single time I end up stopping because of the "purge" and the irritation it causes on my skin.
I can find very few testimonials from people who have used Aklief for more than 3 months and who actually managed to get through the purging phase. I would really like to know if it's worth it. It’s supposed to be a powerful treatment, and I’m surprised to see so few positive comments.
I’m wondering if it’s because it doesn't work, or if it's because most people give up on the treatment before the end of the purge. I would love to hear your experiences with this treatment, especially regarding moderate to severe acne.
