My coach constantly yells at me. Should I leave the gym?

Today I was drilling a technique and he screamed at me saying “THATS NOT HOW YOU DO IT!” Then I kept doing it wrong and he said “STOP FUCKING DO THAT! THATS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TECHNIQUE!” Does he have anger issues or is he trying to “toughen” me up? Either way I hate getting yelled at. One of the other coaches at the gym says he screams at them too so it’s not just me.

You get $1 billion to pick someone you know to ask out 50 girls. If all of them rejects the person of your choice, you get the money. If not, you die. Who do you pick and why?

It doesn’t matter if it’s just one girl who says yes, you’ll still die. All of them have to say no in order for you to get the money.

You get $20,000, but the 5 people you hate most gets $1,000,000,000 each. Are you taking the deal? Why or why not?

You cannot choose yourself as one of the 5 people. None of them will give you any money either.

Slow learner or normal?

So I’ve been training for 2.7 years. I started sparring 1.8 years ago. I’m still hesitant in sparring even against beginners who’ve only done it for a month. No prior background either.

Against more advanced people, I’m just getting toyed with. They could kill me in 10 seconds if they decided to. Am I just a slow learner or is this normal?

I know it’s normal for people with <1 year experience to have this problem too, but I’ve been doing it for 2.7 years. I would expect to be a lot more competent considering how much more time I spent. I train 4x a week, 3 hours a day, and I spar 45 minutes a week. I feel like I’ve wasted thousands of dollars just to still suck.
