Laptop specs:

Zephyrus M16 2022 GU603ZM

Intel Core i9 12900h

RTX 3060

Upgraded the ram to 40GB

Keyboard is a custom noir 82 v2 timeless with hand lubed akko rosewood and some pressplay keycaps. I removed most of the foam and did a tape mod. Other one is a cheapo ajazz (forgot the series) that I also modified. It has huano grape orange switches and 2 or 3 layers of tape mod.

Mouse is the ROG Chakram Core. Technically, I got it for free since it came inside the laptop box. Tape mod the scroll wheel so that it doesn't rattle. Changed the switches to the huano silent brown shell white dot.

Speakers are the edifier r1700bts manually room corrected via equalizer apo.

Headset is the sony wh-ch720n

Monitor I use, is the Skyworth H27G30Q which is 2k 180hz

I use a type c docking station underneath but I forgot the brand.

Table is 2 meters wide, 80cm deep

I mainly do college stuff, and a part time video / motion graphics designer.

Quick question:

I've been using the zephyrus m16 2022 for a bit over 4 years now. Throughout its lifespan I've changed the keyboard 2 times (one is under warranty) because of an issue I kept getting which resulting in some keys being unresponsive. Last replacement was on april 2025 and it seems to be that the issue started to appear again. Is it a common issue? It can't be that I'm just that unlucky? I have ocd so I clean my laptop often. I've checked the keyboard socket and it seems fine.
