What’s the Best Buy
Im cross shopping a Gen 3 (2018-2021) Mazda 6 against the 2016-2020 Lexus ES and saw a few options available. They’re pretty rare unfortunately compared to the Lexus but a strong alternative in my opinion. There’s a few available near me and I wanted opinions on what would be better.
2021 Carbon Edition with 66k miles for $20,300
2018 Signature with 80k miles for $17,700
2019 Signature with 58k miles for $22,000
I like the Carbon Editions styling and the fact that it’s the latest model year available with the most recent feature, tech, and updates. However I really would like the Signature’s added luxury and refinement especially as an alternative to the ES.
The Carfax for the 2019 is kinda questionable with body electrical being repaired and the battery being replaced twice in just 60k miles. The 2018 has an extensive maintenance history with only the fuel pump being replaced around 55k. The 2021 has a good maintenance history as well but 4 reported owners though only 2 owners are shown as actually putting miles on it. Let me know what you guys think.
