Fragrance oxydation ?

Hi !

I'm not sure if im in the correct place for asking this...(if not i'm sorry)

Let let explain. Since a couple of years, i buy for my tiny appartement a room diffuser called "Med". This room diffuser is selled by MSC cruises and make you taste a good smell of a fresh environnement on a ship.

So what's the problem ? The liquid of this room diffuser is normally translucent/ a little bit yellow.

When i install it and open it, the liquid slowly start to turn to Brown, like a Pepsi. And the smell ? Gone, no smell at all, everyhing disapear.

Maybe the liquid oxidizes ? Maybe an interaction with other substances in the air ?

It's the third time on 3 differents room diffuser that this happens.

I just want to know : what do you thinks of this in a chemistry view ?

Heres the pictures of the product in normal conditions, the product with brown liquid (mine) and the chemistry formula of the product

Thanks for reading and for your answer !
