1st time visiting district eagle
Hey there everyone,
Some background: So, historically I've been a bit of a shut in, but have made it a goal of mine to actually go outside, get out more, touch grass, etc. I like house music so I decided to go check out tomorrow's unspeakable joy event at district eagle. It does appear that from the outside the vibe there might be a little much for someone who is historically more of a homebody but I kind of just want to rip the bandaid off at this point. I guess I'm kind of hoping to prove to myself that I won't go into shock when around a crowd of people with more energy than a senior citizen bingo meetup lol.
My question: Would anyone here have any input re: what to expect there or advice for navigating the space/having a fun, safe time? Especially since I have approximately zero prior experience with bars (gay or otherwise).
I was planning on arriving a bit before 10 (when the event starts) to kind of familiarize myself a bit with the surroundings before things get packed and also avoid any lines, idk if that's necessary though.
