My girlfriend and I will be visiting Barcelona at the end of May. We booked a stay at hotel Casa Camper because of the phenomenal reviews (including the location), but after a little more research I’ve seen a lot of negative things regarding the safety of El Raval as a whole. We’re not into clubbing or staying out super late, but I don’t want to feel on edge walking back to the hotel at 11pm or midnight. Do I have anything to worry about? Should I be switching hotels or am I overthinking this?
