The whole 6th Ave & Division/Sprague Intersection will be closed 5/14, 5/15, and the week of June 1 from 7pm-5am. Make sure to plan ahead if you’ll be driving through the area at night!

Events for bike riders!

Here's some upcoming events for people who like to bike around Tacoma.

  • May 13 5:30-7:30pm, Monkey Puzzle - Sequoia Map & Roll
    • Meet at entrance of Seymour Conservatory, registration required!
  • May 14 6-7:30pm, Slow & Steady Bike Ride w/2nd Cycle
    • This is an all ages group ride about 5ish miles. Starting at 2nd Cycle.

     

  • May 16 9am-3pm (after party 3-5pm), Destiny Dozen 2026
    • Registration required, check in 8-10am at 2nd Cycle
    • This is a fundraiser for 2nd Cycle that will take you roughly 40 miles around Tacoma.
  • May 17 12-3pm, Bike Everywhere Day w/TOTG
    • Join TOTG at People’s Park for treats, resources, bike tune-ups & a scavenger hunt!
  • May 21 10am-2pm, Bike to Broadway Farmers Market
    • Receive a $5 market token if you bike to the market and visit the TOTG booth!

     

  • May 21 12-2pm, Tweed Ride w/2nd Cycle & UWT
    • Themed bike ride meeting at Prairie Line Trail below Metro Coffee picnic tables.
  • May 30 9:15am-12:00pm, Ride the Foothills & Volunteer Work Party
    • Registration required, ride w/the group from Doc Tait Pavilion or meet at South Prairie Trailhead at 9:45am.
