When I first played this game around my first year of high school I was so angry that he got Katjaa and Duck killed and when he was grabbed by walker Crawford Oberson I was like "He got Katjaa and Duck killed, no I’m not saving him!" And just let him fall to his death.

Ok, so Larry overall is a piece of shit with how hostile he was towards Lee during season 1 and acted as if Lee was dangerous to be around with the possibility that it was influenced because of Lee’s race, but in regards to Vince who murdered Tiny Carlos because his brother died due to the deal going wrong would Larry see Vince as more of a danger if he knew Vince’s association with people like Tiny Carlos?
Could Larry have been justified if he knew the context about Vince’s murder conviction since it’s not stated if Larry knew that Lee murdered the senator who was having an affair with Lee’s ex-wife?
