Who would you want to see Ron with that’s not Hermione or Luna?

I was trying to think of a relationship for Ron for my canon rewrite in third year. I had Harry/Hermione since first year and Luna/Neville in second, but if you were reading a fic where Ron wasn’t with Hermione (or Luna), who would you like to see? I was kind of leaning towards Lavender or Parvati because he has romantic connections with them in the books, but I just feel kind of meh about that, especially because I thought it would be kind of nice to have them date Dean and Seamus, not Ron. Is there anybody else? Not Daphne Greengrass because she’s not a good person in this story, and Astoria is kinda with Draco.

So I’m trying to start a Neville/Luna ship in my series rewrite, and I thought it would be cute if she just took her stuff over to the Gryffindor table and plopped down next to him. Like he’d be too shy to talk to her, but she can just kinda tell he likes her, and he’s not so bad, so she makes the first move. But…are they allowed to do that?

In something I wrote, someone commented that they saw my twists coming, but that they were glad that they guessed correctly. I figured people might be bored if my big reveals aren’t big or surprising at all. So this person’s view was welcome, but new to me. If you were reading a book and you guessed a twist correctly via foreshadowing, would you be disappointed? Or would you be glad?

I kind of want him to defeat the snake using his wand (partly a hark back to something that happens earlier in the story) so is there any way he could have gotten it back? I was considering having him use Ginny’s wand, but no reason that couldn’t be stolen too.
