Adding to "ecosystem"?

Adding to "ecosystem"?

I've been consistent with using my A5 bullet journal every day since January 1st, yay! I used to carry it with me to work and I would often use it while working. Now I have a new purse which my A5 journal will not fit in and I don't want to carry it separate. So, I ordered a pocket notebook system. My question is how to incorporate a pocket notebook to use when I don't have access to my bullet journal? I don't want to be writing the same things in each or transferring my writing every day as that seems counter intuitive. I can't seem to find any videos on this particular situation. I'm sure in time I'll develop a system through trial and error, I just need to know where to start. TIA

First big project

I bought a ticket to Alex Kincaid's Wildflower Watercolor Week and this was the final project! This is the first detailed project I've done that took about 3 1/2 or 4 hours across 2 days. I don't hate it either which is an accomplishment!

Wildflower Watercolor Week

My first poppy! I haven't been thrilled with the flowers I've painted this week but after a few hours or the next day I look at it again and it's not as bad as I originally thought.

Butterfly ranunculus. I'm not sure about this one. It's definitely my least favorite I've ever done.

I signed up for a week of live classes hosted by Alex Kincaid for Wildflower Watercolor Week! This is the day one painting I did of blue flax! I'll probably do another one in the future. I need to practice glazing more as it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. Also I think i could do better contour lines.

I just bought a block of this cold pressed cotton watercolor paper and did a painting last night. Today I took it off the block and the back seems to be the exact same texture. Are you able to paint on the back of this paper successfully? Since I'm learning and this paper, while not super expensive, is an expense but it would save me in the long run while I'm practicing every day to use both sides.

My first tree! I couldn't get the darkest value to be really dark. I used sap green in winsor & Newton cotman range. Any suggestions on what to mix with the sap green to make it a darker green?

This is my first self- portrait I've attempted as an adult. I was interested in learning watercolor and then thought learning drawing fundamentals would help with watercolor painting. I have no art background at all. But I kind of impressed myself with this drawing of myself. I'm following along with the book Drawing On the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards and also watching videos on YouTube. Any tips on what I should really pay attention to when it comes to drawing?
