Pennsylvania resident input requested: filial liability law

I am a PA resident and both of my parents are also. I am the only child of my parents. As they are getting up there in age I have become more concerned with any medical debt I could "inherit" when they die. From what I understand I know that if one parent dies, the spouse is responsible for things first while they are still alive. But when both parents are dead does the state just immediately come after me for their medical debt? I've tried looking this up multiple times but everything is so unclear and vague. I want to be prepared so that I cannot be tricked into accepting their medical debt if I actually have options.

I know that the state can only come after me for their medical debt, not any of their other debts, as I cannot "inherit" those.

We have never had much money and I believe when they die that there will be no estate whatsoever. I don't think either have life insurance policies. I can only hope that they can both get on Medicaid when the need for hospice or assisted living facilities arrives, because they have no money to support themselves to such extent and I have hardly enough to support myself as it is. I am listed on their living wills as the "alternate" or whatever it is in case both of them should die at the same time ect but I am not co-signed on anything and I will not ever co-sign on something with them because of this. They do not own homes or other property aside from a beater car and they only rent an apartment space currently.

So my question is: if my parents have no estate, no money, and no assets (no owned property, cars, etc), will the state come after me for any medical debt they had at the time of death?

1980 single wide with a new roof and I'm worried about wall supports being strong enough. Has anyone had any experience with adding additional exterior wall studs? Or experienced bowing from roof weight? Trying to make sure I'm doing the right things and hoping maybe someone out there has some insight.
