Nurtec during pregnancy
I’m at the end of my rope here. I’m 14 weeks pregnant with my second baby and experiencing debilitating migraines lasting around 3 days. I previously used Nurtec and it worked perfectly for me. My neuro advised not to take it during pregnancy. I am taking magnesium supplements daily and also prescribed/take zofran and reglan (because I also have hyperemesis… lucky me). I did an occipital nerve block around 20 days ago and have experienced 2 migraines since so I’m really not sure that it worked. After a miserable night of my second migraine I researched all day and caved and took my Nurtec against my drs advice. It worked like a charm and I was pain free. I’ve read so many accounts of people who took Nurtec while pregnant and even some neuros approving them but I’m still so nervous. I’m in another migraine cycle and dying to reach for my Nurtec again but trying to tough it out. Anyone else in the same boat? Ugh
