I took a Lyft home from the airport and I left my hat in the Lyft. It was a Stetson that my wife bought me a few years ago for Christmas and I have extreme sentimental value with that hat. It was a $350 hat and in my sleepy delusional state I took it off and set it next to me and when I jumped out I left it. I tried contacting the driver but got no response, the Lyft response says I can follow up with local authorities but the police do not care about stuff like this where I live. Is there anything else I can do?
