When did you stop using certain items?

I’m curious, when did you ditch the shower seat and toilet seat riser if you ever had one? I know that everyone’s recovery is different, but I feel like I’m using the toilet seat riser as a crutch at this point lol.

Also, my mind is blown thinking that one day in the next couple of weeks, I’ll be allowed to ditch my walker (I’m a 6 weeks pure walker girl) and just walk?! Like, how does one do that 😅

Edited to add that I have been instructed by my surgeon to only use the walker for 6 weeks. I was told not to use a cane or crutches so I have been sticking to his instructions.

Can they leave the medical opinion blank and say refer to the DBQ? This was all for claiming my left hip secondary to my already SC right hip and going back over ROM in my right hip for a potential change. Also, I was never able to cross my legs but it was marked that I was able to and that exam had genuinely felt good which I previously posted about but I’m confused by this DBQ. Is this a bad DBQ for trying to claim my left hip as a secondary? That’s my main concern, the left hip as secondary. I’ve had a hip replacement since this C&P on my left hip because it was that bad. Is HLR my best bet? This is my first denial and I’m a little lost. I submitted all of my private medical records from my surgeon listing all of these conditions and MRI/CT findings when I submitted my claim.

Sorry for the repost, I couldn’t see the medical opinion originally. Can they leave the medical opinion blank and say refer to the DBQ? I’m 2.5 weeks post op and I have looked like deformed Elastigirl since day 2. I understand swelling is a part of the process but how are we encouraging it to go away?! I wear my Venago throughout the day, elevate in my bed typically at night, and my game ready rental got picked up two days ago so I have slacked on icing these two days but prior to that, I was icing 30/30 and 30/60. This swelling does not want to go down in the slightest.

The examiner said to my face in the C&P that he believes me left hip issues are likely caused by my right but then he wrote the complete opposite. He also said I have way more issues than what I’m trying to claim but then I apparently got an unfavorable DBQ from him. Do examiners typically lie to your face like that because I was not expecting a denial and the other two conditions for an increase got deferred almost like he totally screwed up the DBQ??

It doesn’t show as DBQ on the website and it doesn’t show as a file in the app at all. The April 6th upload never showed up until late last night and then there’s a duplicate form 21-2507a on 4/28. Was that the VA asking the examiner for the DBQ? Because the claim just moved from step 3 to 5 after both of those documents got uploaded but I’ve never seen something like this or a document supposedly uploaded weeks ago that never showed on the claim so I’m just a little confused.
