I just finished Alchemised and now I am in a bit of a reading slump because nothing I try seems to hit the same. What I really loved about it was the complex worldbuilding, morally grey and layered characters, and a romance that felt high-stakes and developed slowly over time.

I would love to find something that feels as consuming and stays with you after finishing, with good writing and more depth than typical romantasy.

If anyone has recommendations that come close to this I would really appreciate it! Thankss
