philosophy degree: digital analyst position? (is it possible)?
hi! current undergrad here majoring in philosophy. curious if working as a digital analyst or some position where I get to 'solve' and predict outcomes from studying social media analytics, trends, performance, etc., is possible with this degree.
I love asking the 'why' (of course, as any philosophy major ever would) as well as hypotheticals, theoretical, etc., so solving and figuring things out really helps my brain feel put to work in the best way. I really enjoy beauty and fashion as well/a more creative or expressive side, so wondering what positions work for this.
any other courses I should take advantage while I work toward my degree?
(potentially relevant info?: I have my own social media where I have already driven sales to my own small business on a third party site, as well as a variety of videos that got hundreds of thousands of views. could use this to justify my skill in digital analytics maybe?)
what do I do/how can I build portfolio/resume for this? What kind of internships or things do I look for? Just curious on where to really start or how to get my foot in the door here. thanks!
