They were giving away a bunch of stuff at work (I work in two museums but they are both the same organization) and I took this guy, I am pretty sure it is proterosuchus or maybe even a Champsosaur. We don’t really have a lot of early Triassic stuff at my work place on display and I imagine it came from some maquette. but the skull shape is definitely a lot closer to Proterosuchus than any Champsosaurs I know off. What do you guys think? To make it even more confusing, the site I got it at is exclusively Pleistocene but I’m pretty sure this is either Mesozoic or Paleozoic.
