Hi, posting for some input on feasibility. Have a 1910ish Dutch Gambrel barn, metal roof, excellent condition. We've just lifted the hay mow floor so that it's 15' from the ground, still a ton of vertical space above (20' estimate). We've talked about putting an apartment/living space up there. Available lofted footprint is 35'x35'.
If I was to put an apartment up there down the line, would there be any way to rodent proof it? We are an active farm and there are rodents. I can't think of any way to do this that isn't essentially building an impenetrable box within this space. Thanks
