This was my portion of a collab edit I did

I practiced a lot and learned some new techniques on this one. I worked way too hard on it and got way too close to the project, like I always do.

At first it didn’t do too well, but it slowly started picking up traction and blowing up. I just wanted to share my growth and some of the different techniques I used.

I did hyper-precise cutouts, tracing individual characters down to the half-millimeter mark, then masked them with a red aura outline. I also blurred some sections that didn’t flow the way I wanted. I know adding lyrics or text on screen is popular right now, but for this edit it felt like it would clutter the screen, so I chose not to.

I’m not the best editor out there, but this was a real milestone for me. Cheers.
