State of the Sub: April 2026

Hi everyone,

First off, my apologies for being a day late with this State Of The Sub!

April is officially behind us. While it was a quieter month on the track, we wanted to take a moment to look at the activity here on the sub. Since there were no races this month, the numbers are naturally lower than they were during then in March.

Despite the lack of track action, we are so grateful to have you all here.

• Keeping it Fun: We are sticking to our goal of keeping political discussions out of the sub. We want r/CadillacF1 to remain a fun, neutral space focused solely on the racing.
• Use of AI: We also want to introduce a new policy regarding AI usage on the sub. If you want to post AI-generated content, such as images, videos long-form text or music, you must first reach out to us via Modmail for permission. If the content is high-quality and doesn't look like "AI-slop," we will almost certainly say yes. However, once approved, you must clearly state in your post that AI was used. If you don't, we’ll have to remove it. (This does not apply to basic editing tools, such as removing backgrounds or upscaling the quality of a real photo, which are perfectly fine to use without mention.)

Looking Ahead - May

With racing returning in May, we expect activity to ramp up significantly. We’ve been working behind the scenes to make this sub as good as possible! Thank you for making this community what it is, we appreciate every single one of you for sticking around during the gap.
