What are my chances of recovery ?
Dear Redditors, I am stuck here : I try to recover data from an external HDD, and everytime it gets to 3% (analyse, recovery or even trying to create a disk image). From the over 250Gb data I try to recover (mainly photos), I only get around 25Gb recovered...
I used Tenorshare 4DDiG and am stuck everytime. their support doesn't seem to be helpful for the moment.
Here is a picture of the activity of the drive before and after it gets stuck. I think this is quite revealing.
Has anyone any idea of what is happening here ?
This is a 1To Seagate HDD. I tried with the cable, and also with a Sata reader (I opened the box to connect directly). It flashes in the beginning, and stops when reaching 3%.
The drive is recognized but says it is damaged and unreadable.
I also already tried the Chkdsk and it didn't work.
Please help ?
