Melbourne East. Installed new Sir Walter buffalo last year early October. It settled in beautifully over summer needing weekly mows. I noticed in the last month or so some dead patches. These are in areas that get mostly full sun. They seem to be getting worse.

The temperature has dropped in the last month with less sun and more rain. Could it be drainage? I was thinking about pests. Lawn grub treatment (slow release pellets) was applied after installation as well as a week ago. It is definitely wet but doesn't seem boggy. I'm not sure what else to check.
